Sisk posts opening 75 at Deutsche Bank
Cleveland stud lies four shots off 36 hole cut line

Norton, MA-Geoff Sisk carded an opening round of 4-over par 75 and sits tied for 127th following the first round of the Deutsche Bank Championship at the TPC of Boston.

Starting on the back nine, Sisk, the two-time defending Cleveland Golf Tour Player of the Year, reeled off three straight pars before suffering bogeys on the 13th, 14th and 15th holes.

After heading to the front side 3-over par for the day, Sisk recorded his only birdies of the day, on the par 4, 1st and par 5, 2nd holes to get to 1-over par.

A pair of bogeys, on the 6th and 9th holes, however, stalled out any momentum he had created and leaves him tied for 127th place heading into the second round.

For the round, Sisk struggled to reach the putting surface in regulation, hitting just half of the greens and subsequently needing 30 putts.

Ryan Palmer and Tiger Woods share the early lead at 6-under par following their matching 65’s. The projected cut line currently rest at even par.

Sisk tees off of on the front nine tomorrow morning at 8:30.
